Hello, all! Just to let you know, this will be my last Creative Links of the Week post for a little while. I’m now in my last week of pregnancy, which means that I’ll be taking a brief hiatus from these posts (and possibly My Modern Met). Of course, you’re in capable hands. We have a fantastic team of writers that are going to continually keep you up-to-date on the latest and greatest creative ideas out there. I will be working until the little munchkin decides to make his way into the world, however, so you’ll see me on My Modern Met until that exciting (and nerve-wracking) day.
Now, here were some of the best stories from the web this week. Also, check out what you missed on My Modern Met, below.
Around the Web:
Dessert tarts recreate Pantone color swatches. Fun (or should I say yum)?
Is that really a Starbucks? It’s actually their concept store called “The Bank” in Amsterdam.
Behind the scenes book for advertising lovers. Want!
Sara Blakely is my hero.
Nice to hear the story behind those posters you see everywhere.
Cupcake ATM!
Think I need this fine fella in my life.
We can all use some inspirational words.
An ivy bike lock. What a clever design.
Obama 2012!
How to make your photography go viral.
Love this minimalist clock.
Best of My Modern Met:
Yes, these are actually sculptures.
Have you seen these incredibly detailed papercut pieces?
How I’d love to bump into these spooky sculptures!
Can’t get enough of this artist’s technique.
Clever Venn diagrams.
Have a fantastic weekend!
