As many of you have heard by now, right off the coast of Dubai, hundreds of artificial islands are being constructed to resemble the world. The World is a man-made archipelago of 300 islands constructed in the shape of a world map and located 2.5 miles off the coast. How does anyone imagine roaming from place to place? Dennis Ingemansson thinks he has the answer. He’s created the Sea Limousine, a solar-powered, driverless, satellite-navigated sub. Shaped like a humpback manta ray, the Sea Limousine is as smart as it is sleek, it’s powered by hovercraft engines and fueled by solar cells embedded in the windows. We can’t wait to visit The World one day – hopping and skipping from Vegas to Hong Kong in our manta ray. Kudos to Dennis Ingemansson who’ll make it quite the experience.
