Since it began in the 1990s, Oprah’s Favorite Things has been a highly anticipated holiday tradition. Even though The Oprah Winfrey Show (where it all began) has been off the air for years, the beloved media mogul continues to carry on the annual list to the delight of shoppers. And this year, there’s a twist. “Because so many people want to support Black lives any way they can, we’ve found dozens of absolutely gorgeous gifts from Black-owned businesses that deserve to be celebrated, because we believe Black lives—and Black businesses—matter,” she writes. “So for 2020, most of my Favorite Things are from Black-owned or -led companies.”
