23-year-old Polish artist Mariusz Kedzierski aims to prove that a disability cannot prevent one from accomplishing their goals. By producing over 700 drawings in about 15,000 hours, the illustrator primarily conveys that he can live a full life despite being born without arms. “It doesn’t mean that I have to forget my dreams,” Kedzierski states, explaining that he’s been cultivating his artistic talent through the practice of creating hyperrealistic portraits and illustrations over the past seven years. Thanks to his hard work and determination, the artist received a 2nd prize for “Best Global Artist” in Vienna in 2013.
As of right now, Kedzierski is traveling throughout Europe for his Mariusz Draws series, for which he’s been developing his artwork on the streets of London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Athens, and many other iconic cities. He concludes, “I want to inspire people, show them that all the limits are in our heads.”
