Who embodies the word “muse,” more than Kate Moss? Whether it be in fashion, photography, music or sculpture, the supermodel has been the subject of inspiration for designers and artists alike. Danziger Projects Gallery in New York just recently opened its doors to an exhibit of Kate Moss from her early career to the present. The Kate Moss portfolio, put together by both the model and Danziger Projects, features eleven 24×30 inch prints each produced by different photographers, which represents Moss’ versatility in her career.
In addition to the portfolio, there is a compilation of unseen photos of Moss taken before her first photo shoot for FACE. These rarely seen photos were shot by Mary McCartney and Herb Ritts, and show her modeling work with silkscreens by Peter Blake.
Iconic Donatella Versace shares an opinion of Kate Moss that sums it all up perfectly: “Kate’s individual beauty and captivating innocence have always stood out from the rest of the other models”.
