Striking Social Housing Tower

Social housing buildings are often thought of as plain and boring because of their limited budgets and strict regulations. Someone didn’t tell that to Spanish architecture firm Roldn + Berengu who designed this striking 75-unit social housing tower in Barcelona.

Conceived as part of an urban master plan, the uneven layering of the facade creates a dynamic aesthetic identity, while offering a variety of views for the low-income residents. All materials used in the tower’s construction are 100% recyclable and the facade’s materials come from a 65% natural materials and 100% already recycled materials.
