In an ever-cluttered world, photographer Ryan Robinson simplifies it down for us with these interesting pictures. Whether he’s just using simple props or bringing one thing in focus, he elicits an emotion in us we didn’t expect to feel – sadness, despair, or a sudden loss of control. More than anything, however, he makes us think about what our focus is or is not. Are we forgetting about what is important to us? Do we need to refocus?
“I was born and raised in a small farmtown in Illinois. I guess I’m best known for my photographs which I’ve peppered with a touch of wit, humor and sometimes irreverence. I’m in love with little bursts of bright color, I’m a stickler fro the details (seen or unseen) and I’ve got a savvy collection of semi-pro carpentry skills, die-hard work ethics and contagious bursts of energy.”
