Heartwarming High School Graduation Video Shows How Fast Kindergarteners Turn Into Senior Grads

A touching video from an Ohio high school’s graduation has recently gone viral. The short clip, which was originally posted to the Louisville City Schools Facebook, combines the school district’s youngest students with the oldest, as kindergartners and seniors join forces to celebrate how quickly time flies.

The video, which is set to a version of Burning Love by Elvis Presley with an orchestral accompaniment, begins with a group of seven kindergartners waving at the camera. One of the boys excitedly points at himself and then starts running at the camera. Just as he jumps over it, the footage cuts to a senior boy landing in the grass in his graduation cap and gown, and gesturing at the younger students to join him. One by the one, the rest of the kindergartners jump and are replaced by their graduating senior counterparts.

The clip’s feel-good energy is contagious and it looks like everyone had a blast while filming it. Even better, it appears to be part of a series of videos that the school district made for this graduation year. In fact, the high school principal uploaded another similar video to his Instagram, this time with a different group of students. “Don’t blink!” his caption states, reminding parents to make the most of each and every moment with their child, because they will be walking across the high school graduation stage before they know it.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024 and to the future Class of 2036!

High school seniors are creating the most wholesome graduation videos with kindergarteners, showing just how quickly time can fly by.
