The global financial crisis just got its very own mascot! El Tiburon (Spanish for the shark) is the title of Blu’s latest mural, located in the streets of Barcelona. The shark, which took 12 days to make, is made out of painted 100 bills, and serves as a poignant statement about the doom and gloom currently surrounding the world’s economy. Because of the great detail and creative concepts in his large scale installations, Blu is definitely one of the most exciting urban graffiti artists in the world today.
