Hong Kong-based art director and photographer Victor Cheng travels the globe capturing the world’s most beautiful locations as part of his growing portfolio of travel photography. Originally from Toronto, Cheng’s breathtaking images depict a diverse range of landscapes, architecture, and cultures. Cheng reveals on Instagram, “I’ve always been inspired to travel to new places since picking up photography. The beauty of being able to go somewhere new for the first time to capture its beauty always fascinates me.”
From the rainbow-colored high rises of Hong Kong to the rose-colored architectural wonders of Jaipur, Cheng uses a drone camera to capture his stunning scenes from unique perspectives. Bustling metropolises are viewed from above, transforming monstrous towers and skyscrapers into little Lego-like elements. Aerial views of busy beaches show sand, waves, and sun umbrellas as painterly swathes of color. No matter the location, all of Cheng’s photos are flawlessly composed, often displaying minimalist, geometric lines and perfect symmetry.
