Looks like our favorite superheroes have finally grown old. Now, instead of flying around, taking down bad guys, and saving the world, they’re spending their last few days at a nursing home made for Superheroes.
Superman leans on a walker, while Catwoman takes her afternoon nap. The Incredible Hulk, flabby and in tatters, vegetates in a wheelchair. Mr. Fantastic dangles his overstretched limbs, while Captain America lies comatose on a gurney, attended by a decrepit Wonder Woman.
These depressing life-like sculptures were created by contemporary artist Gilles Barbier, who currently lives and works in Marseille, France.
