Young Yi’s design is a large cube featuring nine above ground floors and two basement level floors. Nearly the whole building is completely white, and each outer wall features the word “library” in four different languages. The floor plan is left open with all nine floors being connected by stairways. The bookshelves are pushed back into the outer wall of each floor offering a nice open design. Young Yi’s design is a wonderfully clean and modern take on a library. Who wouldn’t want to study here?
