While we can understand photography based on majestic mountains, beautiful sunsets or even cute animals and adorable children, we could have never guessed that, one day, we would write about scaffolding photography…until now. Scaffoldage is a Tumblr by Shaun Usher that brings some of the most interesting scaffolding photos to light.
Typically used to support people or materials in the construction or repair of a building, scaffolding is usually more of an eye-sore, for viewers, than anything. But captured in the right light or at the precise moment, and these temporary structures suddenly take center stage.
