There’s nothing like the special bond between a boy and his dog–unless, of course, it’s the friendship between a boy, two dogs, and a horse! Stasha Becker (a.k.a. @northwestmommy), a mother and photography enthusiast who lives on an island north of Seattle, documents the adorable adventures of her 7-year-old son Julian, his two big-hearted Newfoundlands, and their family horse who lives on a nearby farm.
When we last wrote about Stasha and her son two years ago, Julian only had one big, furry playmate to run around the island with. Since then, the boy and his 8-year-old pooch, Max, have added new pals to their entourage: Bruce, a 2-year-old Newfoundland, and a regal stallion named Vizon. Throughout the years, Stasha has continued to capture the sweet moments between Julian and his four-legged friends as they pose in front of the garage door, play outside, and visit Vizon and his fellow horses at the farm.
The Becker family is gearing up for their next big adventure in the upcoming months, as Stasha announced on Instagram. For the rest of the summer, she, Julian, and their dogs will be driving around the US on the ultimate road trip, before moving to Japan to join Stasha’s Navy officer husband at his new station. Unfortunately, Vizon will stay behind on the farm in Washington, but Max and Bruce will both be right by Julian’s side as he explores his new home.
