Endless Reflections Captured Inside of a Mirrored Box

At first glance, one might assume that the amazing creations seen here are the result of digital manipulations. However, in reality, each image is a photograph created inside of a square cube covered with mirrors on all six sides.

Ron Brinkmann developed this MirrorBox with mirrored tiles and some duct tape. He uses a number of fun objects inside to capture the mind-blowing arrangements in which repetitive lines and geometric shapes produce a kaleidoscope of visually exciting compositions.

To document the effect without human interference, Brinkmann sets the timer on his camera, puts it inside of the box, and then places the final mirrored panel on top as a lid. In the final photographs, viewers will find themselves excited to explore the images in order to make sense of the endless reflections of glowing candles, balls of aluminum foil, or rows of C-3P0.
