Travel photographer Alan Brutenic loves using his abilities as a drone pilot to explore different cities around the world. Brutenic splits his time between London and Prague, so it only made sense that he had his drone take flight in the Czech capital. His incredible aerial photos of Prague show sweeping views of the city that will make you want to pack your bags and visit immediately.
As Brutenic tells My Modern Met, Prague is known as the “city of a hundred spires,” and he truly does manage to get one in almost every shot. Those who know Prague will immediately recognize Old Town Square, home of the famed Astronomical Clock and lined with buildings that demonstrate the city’s rich history. Other iconic monuments include the Charles Bridge, which stretches over the Vltava River, connecting Prague Castle and the Old Town.
By shooting his images at sunrise, the photographer is able to capture a fiery sky that sets off the red rooftops of the city. For Brutenic, these artistic choices are fundamental to capturing the soul of a city. His mission is to encourage others to explore the world and travel more.
Through his well-followed Instagram, it’s possible to join him on his adventures around the world. Whether exploring nature in New Zealand or capturing the historic architecture of Florence, Italy, his abilities to tell inspirational stories about his travels have made him a sought-after influencer. It’s no wonder that in between shoots for brands and travel boards, he also runs workshops on iPhone photography and Instagram for business.
