Shelter Dogs Are Playfully Transformed into High-Fashion Cover Models to Help Them Get Adopted

Shelter dogs can be just as beautiful—and fashion forward—as any other pup, and the Polish non-profit organization Po Psu Ta Moda is out to prove it. Their ongoing project styles dogs in the vein of high-fashion magazine covers like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, offering a side-by-side comparison of the beautiful human model and the adorable shelter dog. The canines don outfits and strike poses nearly identical to their human counterparts.

This playful campaign, conceptualized by the startup ostrosiostro, is a creative way to shed some light on these innocent animals that need a good forever home. The dogs often look silly all dolled up, but it’s the intentions behind the campaign that makes the series so charming and unforgettable. So far, it’s helped some of the pups get adopted since its early-August launch. Check out the group’s Facebook page to see which dogs are still available, as well as some behind-the-scenes shots.
