Just point your smartphone’s camera towards a mathematical expression and PhotoMath will automatically display the correct result. Better yet, it demonstrates the step-by-step process of how to solve the problem.
Currently, this app supports arithmetic, fractions, powers and roots, and simple linear equations; the creators plan on adding more features in the future. PhotoMath is a free download and available for iOS and Windows Phones. Don’t worry Android users, because there’s a version for you due in early 2015.
