Enchanting Trio of Treehouses Each Have a Uniquely Cozy Feel

Atlanta, Georgia-based environmentalist Peter Bahouth grew up having a treehouse and has fond memories of it. As an adult, he wanted to recreate this special place, so he partnered with local builder Nick Hobbs to design and construct his vision. Bahouth had previously purchased a lot of land next to his house, and together with Hobbs selected a trio of nearly equidistant trees to build around. The result is three enchanting spaces linked together by a suspension bridge.

Each house is loaded with salvaged materials, antiques, and meaningful objects. They are named “Mind,” “Body,” and “Spirit” and have personalities all their own. You first enter Mind, which is meant as a place to gather, and includes ample seating for guests. The second treehouse, Body, is a bedroom that’s filled with original art and a platform bed that slides out under the tree canopy. Spirit is a round platform that is the tallest of the three and boasts an incredible view of the sunset.

The rustic treehouses also come equipped with a hammock for lazy afternoons and a bull’s eye for playing blow darts. Coupled with the cozy interiors, they’re the perfect spot to entertain friends or enjoy a night outdoors and feel closer to nature.
