Photographer Captures Beautiful Photos of Newlyweds in Wedding Ring Reflections

Photographer Peter Adams-Shawn of Memories of Tomorrow Photography has found an inventive way to capture newlywed couples: by snapping their reflections in their rings. He calls the series Ringscapes, and the photos are as diverse and different as the brides and grooms themselves, each one more imaginative than the one before.

Adams-Shawn says his compositions have continuously evolved to attempt new perspectives and creative challenges. Some of the rings are gently placed in the grass or nestled in the sand, revealing the serene wedding backdrops; others are cushioned in their boxes or even slid gently onto the wearers’ fingers. The diamonds, though dazzling, aren’t nearly as enchanting as the images, which also hold a subtly poignant symbolism: it’s not the lustrous silver or gemstones that truly matter, so much as the loving relationships they represent. By mirroring the couples inside their circular bands, Adam-Shawn conveys the precious eternal bonds of their vows.
