While I hate to use the word “precious” when describing anything related to children, there’s just no other way to describe these illustrations by Pascal Campion. The San Francisco-based illustrator and animator makes us stop and appreciate the fleeting moments in life – the kind that pass us by in the blink of an eye. As a first time mom, these illustrations seem to take on a whole new meaning.
You can tell that this French-American illustrator finds inspiration in his own family life. As he says on his website, “Sometimes it’s being at the supermarket or giving a bath to my daughter and she looks at me and smiles. It lasts for a second, but the memory of it stays with me for a long time. These are the things that interest me the most.”
