Artist and designer Miha Debeljak describes his shop, Wood All Good, as a “labor of love.” With an amazing attention to detail, he creates wood and resin jewelry that showcases the splendor of the natural world. Recently, Debeljak has debuted a new collection of statement pieces adorned with lustrous opal, making each wearable masterpiece even more magnificent.
Like his older designs, Debeljak’s new series of opal jewelry draws inspiration from three natural phenomena: shimmering auroras, sparkling galaxies, and dazzling rainbows. These miniature worlds are created when the lab-made opal is added to Wood All Good’s signature combination of sleek resin and burl wood abstractions. Though these materials are inherently dissimilar, they work together to seamlessly produce the one-of-a-kind accessories.
“The resin is beautifully clear and through a long process of polishing we attain a glass-like finish,” Wood All Good writes. “The wood is stabilized for extra durability and has a lovely satin finish. The opal has a beautiful iridescent glow and can change color from all shades of blue/green to red/orange/green and other.”
These amazing opal pieces are available as eye-catching pendants, rings, and earrings. You can find these and more on Wood All Good’s website and Etsy shop.
