The concept, created by artist and designer Eduardo Galvani, is an electric minibus that seats up to five. The rounded Nimbus runs on a 130Kw electrical engine lithium-ion battery that works with the car’s micro combustion generator. Rooftop solar photovoltaic cells also generate power for the vehicle, and it conserves kinetic energy with a regenerative brake mechanism.
Strong-but-lightweight materials like carbon fiber, titanium, and aluminum make up the body of the car. Besides being environmentally conscious, the Nimbus packs some must-have technology. A seven-inch tablet sits in the center console and provides weather information and details about the vehicle itself, such as tire pressure.
