For the past 12 years, My Modern Met has been bringing you the best in art and culture from around the world. And now, we’re excited to share something we’ve been cooking up for the past few months—the My Modern Met Top Artist Podcast.
This biweekly podcast will allow listeners to go in-depth with some of the top creatives working today. My Modern Met contributing writer and art historian Jessica Stewart will go one on one with artists for an intimate look at their careers. We’ll spend about 30 minutes exploring how each artist got their start, what struggles they faced along the way, and what they’ve learned as they’ve grown.
Whether we’re speaking to some of our favorite photographers, painters, sculptors, installation artists, or crafters, we’re diving into the world of creativity to bring you an exclusive look inside the mind of an artist. If you still aren’t sure what you’re in for, take a listen to our short preview where you’ll also hear clips from our interviews with photographers Albert Dros and Gregg Segal, as well as renowned finger painting artist Iris Scott.
The first two episodes will drop next week, so make sure you subscribe via Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, or whatever service you use to listen to your favorite podcasts.
