Necessary Qualifications:
Excellent writing and communication skills
An enthusiastic, professional attitude
A person who naturally thrives from engaging others through thoughtful, creative, and clever dialogue
Thorough understanding of social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, and more
Passion for art, design, photography, architecture, technology, environmental issues, and inspiring stories
Quick learner
Previous experience managing social media accounts for a media company or brand is a plus but not necessary
Daily and Weekly Tasks:
Assist editors and writers by writing and amplifying posts on social media
Engage with commenters on multiple social media platforms

The Social Media Assistant will work 1-3 hours per day for five days a week
