Using acrylic, ink, Flashe, marker, and spray paint, Vancouver-based Ben Tour has scared children with his artwork. Perhaps it’s because of the unusually attractive, yet morbid expressions on his female subjects. Using splashes of color to convey outbursts of emotion, Tour uses his characters as an outlet for his own emotions.
