El Mac (or The Mac) is a Los Angeles born artist who’s been studying art since childhood. He draws inspiration from LA’s Mexican and Chicano culture as well as from pin-up and religious art. We love his photorealistic depiction of women and how uses color. Creating unique and one-of-a-kind murals and graffiti, he’s been commissioned to paint all across the US as well as in France, Denmark and Mexico.
As stated on his website, “Elements, themes and techniques of classic art are often incorporated into a modern context in Mac’s artwork, usually with an emphasis on the human face and figure. His work is the result of a life devoted to art.”
