Dublin-based artist Gillian Corcoran finds inspiration in her local landscape. As the founder of eco-friendly jewelry line Lost Forest, Corcoran crafts whimsical works of wearable art that incorporate “real native wildflowers, fungi, and organic curiosities harvested from the Irish countryside” into their one-of-a-kind designs.
Ranging from dazzling pendants to eye-catching earrings, Corcoran’s bespoke creations highlight the beauty of all-natural materials. Each accessory features flora encased in pine resin—a lustrous material known for both its glossy appearance and ‘green’ design—and framed in glistening gold. Meticulously arranged by Corcoran, each bunch of plants forms a miniature landscape, “resulting in a unique looking glass that reveals a magical secret world to those who peer through.”
