Artisan Kino Guerin makes sturdy wood look as though it’s as easy to tie as string. Guerin uses a variety of woods like walnut, zebrawood, and Wenge veneers, coupling them with an industrial bent plywood. The smooth curves and impeccable handling means that these pieces make an impression in any room.
Over the past 19 years, Guerin has explored all different aspects of molding and shaping by means of the vacuum press laminated process. He says that each new discovery opens up additional possibilities and ways of creation. It’s because of this that Guerin’s work walks the line between a sculpture and a functional object.
