The last time we featured the works of Moscow-based photographer Katerina Plotnikova, we admired her ability to create stunningly surreal images inspired by fairy tales. Recently, she’s expanded her repertoire to include portraits of young girls holding wild animals such as slithering snakes, baby foxes and even adorable hedgehogs. The mesmerizing photos still straddle the line between the reality and fantasy, only this time they hold hints that the beautiful heroines are living in a hidden and mystical world.
