Pilot and photographer Kacper Kowalski takes to the skies to capture stunning images of his native Poland from a bird’s-eye view. Soaring among the clouds, he directs his camera downward, transforming the Polish landscape into a series of vibrant colors, abstract shapes, and interesting textures.
Viewed from high above the ground, trees are flattened into small bristles, foliage bursting with the fiery reds and crisp yellows of autumn. Rivers snake across the terrain like veins, made tiny by the distance between land and sky. From his aerial vantage point, Kowalski depicts the beauty of nature in unexpected, rarely seen ways.
