Perfectly-Timed Photo of Horses Galloping Through Couple's Wedding Portrait

Wedding photographers Jelger + Tanja were in the right place at the right time to capture this stunning image of a couple in love. As the husband and wife duo shot pictures of bride and groom Andrea and Eoin, a group of horses galloped past. Framed by the silhouetted mountains and ethereal sunbeams, the shot looks like something out of a fairy tale.

The photoshoot took place on Sundance Guest Ranch in Ashcroft, British Columbia, which is a special locale for the newlyweds–at one point, they both lived and worked on the ranch. “They loved the place so much that they decided to get married there,” the photographers explained to PetaPixel. “They both shared a really special bond with both the ranch as well as their favorite horses. Andrea even rode down the aisle on her horse!”

Every evening, the ranch releases the horses into the fields and allows them to run wild. The couple wanted to be in the middle of the action and made their way onto the grass. “It was quite crazy to grab it with horses running by,” the photographers recalled–the ground was rumbling!

Jelger + Tanja shared additional photos with us from the shoot. Check them out, below.
