Tattoo artist Jason Adelinia adorns human skin with colorful creations that celebrate nature and wildlife. Completed in a watercolor-esque style, these permanent inkings resemble the spontaneous, carefree fluidity of work produced with a paint brush rather than a tattoo gun. Tigers, birds, butterflies, and sunflowers have this gorgeous, light-as-a-feather touch applied to them, as pigment seemingly drips from the body portraits and adds elements of abstraction to these otherwise realistic renderings.
To perfect this technique, Adelinia often creates a traditional portrait on watercolor paper before tattooing his clients. He shares these paintings on his Instagram, and has a select few available to purchase through his Big Cartel shop.
