Since 1948, Japan has celebrated Culture Day, or Bunka No Hi, on November 3. This national holiday is held to honor the nation’s cultural traditions, from its art history to its academic accomplishments. In order to commemorate this special day, we’ve put together a list of creative products inspired by Japanese design.
There’s something for every Japanophile in this treasure trove of gifts. If you have a taste for the country’s cuisine, you’re sure to enjoy the sushi socks and Mount Fuji chopstick rests. If you’re looking for lucky presents, the crane ring and the Daruma Card are bound to make all your wishes come true. And, if you simply want to celebrate with a friend, you’ll love having the Totoro planter as your new neighbor.
Have a happy Culture Day this November with these fun and festive goodies.
These charming Japanese gifts make celebrating Culture Day even more enjoyable.
