It’s a soft, cozy sweatshirt that doubles as a comfortable place to lay your head when you have a moment to rest. This is all thanks to its special feature–a hood that inflates to form an ergonomic pillow.
Hypnos creator Josh Woodle teamed up with experienced industrial designers to produce the perfect pillow for their hoodie. It takes just three seconds to inflate, and once blown up, is designed to contour to your head for ultimate comfort. When it’s time to deflate, gently press on the hood to let air escape through the small valve that’s located inside. A tailored pocket holds this pillow, and it can easily be removed at anytime.
While comfort is key for the Hypnos hoodie, so is design–it’s important that the garment doesn’t look bulky once it’s inflated. To make it appear inconspicuous, Woodle and team created an over-sized hood and neckline that hides the pillow and can also be maneuvered for maximum comfort. This way, you can adjust your hood to fit a variety of sleeping positions, from sitting up to laying down.
Hypnos Hoodie is currently raising funds for production via Kickstarter. Those wanting their own secret pillow can pre-order it through the campaign.
