Conceptualized by architecture firm Fantastic Norway, Mountain Hill Cabin is nestled in the Ai mountains of Norway and would only be accessible in the winter with skis. An interesting aspect of the cabin is that the roof can be used as a small ski slope.
In an attempt to preserve the natural environment, building materials were carried up with the use of snow scooters so that minimal dammage would occur. Also, the design of the cabin allows for the snow to slide over it, instead of accumulating and causing trouble. The cabin is highly insulated so that visitors can stay warm and enjoy their trip, and features two bedrooms and a living-room, both found on the first floor with a smaller spare bedroom on the second floor.
