Meet Ferrari’s F430 replacement – the super sexy 458 Italia.
Just released, the 458 Italia features a new direct-injected 4.5-liter V8, pumping out 562 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. With a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox that directs power to the rear axle, it has has a top speed of over 202 mph (325 km/h) and goes from 0-62 mph in under 3.4 seconds, making it one of the quickest cars in Ferrari’s stable.
As the it picks up speed, the 458 Italia’s aerodynamically efficient body generates downforce. As a result, the Ferrari 458 Italia’s gas mileage improves to a combined 17.1 mpg on the EU test cycle. The car will be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show in September before going on sale next spring, with a price of about $246,000.
