Graffiti artist Faust is taking advantage of New York City’s frigid winter by writing elegant calligraphy on snowy cars. The anonymous artist, widely recognized for his stickers that decorate paper boxes across the Big Apple, is now targeting icy windshields and hoods. He uses the frozen surfaces as canvases to scrawl his pseudonym and short, winter-themed messages.
Although Faust prizes his anonymity, it hasn’t stopped him from completing high-profile pieces for well-known organizations. He has previously collaborated with the Museum of the City of New York and with commercial clients including Nike, Comedy Central and Samsung.
