Adorable 4-Year-Old Girl Creates Fashionable Paper Dresses

The world’s next big designer may just be this four-year-old girl whose love for fashion goes way beyond the average kid. The young girl, lovingly called Mayhem by mom Angie (@2sisters_angie), was not satisfied with playing dress-up in store-bought princess dresses or in her mom’s clothes. She began wrapping herself in scarves and sheets to produce unique styles and, eventually, Angie suggested that they design dresses out of paper.

For months, the mother-daughter team have worked together to form all kinds of beautifully detailed paper gowns. The concepts are inspired by books, television, and even photos from the red carpet the day after an awards show. They use everything from construction paper to tissue paper, wrapping paper, gift bags, silk scarves, tulle, and aluminum foil held together by clear packing tape or glue. Mayhem participates in a lot of the construction and is constantly learning new skills, although the more complex designs require a bit more of Angie’s skilled hand.

Once a design is complete, Mayhem dons the fabulous final product for a photograph and, for the record, Angie says, “No, I don’t tell her how to pose. I do ask her to face one direction or the other to see the details of the outfit but the rest is pure Mayhem.”
