Steampunk-Inspired Lighting Uses Energy-Efficient LED Technology

There are a lot of advantages to the new wave of LED lighting, but many people still love the classic-looking Edison-style filament bulbs; they don’t want to give them up in favor of something that’s more contemporary. Well, thanks to Edison Light Globes, these folks don’t have to. The Australian company produces beautiful desk and pendant lamps using LED bulbs that last a long time (around 13 years), are energy efficient, and don’t produce a lot of excess heat. Plus, they look like the iconic filament halogen bulbs that we’ve grown up with.

Edison Light Globes’ fixtures use brass and exposed hardware to give their designs a steampunk feel. A combination of pseudo-Victorian and retro-futuristic aesthetics, these gilded, detailed pieces fuse technology with style. We imagine that they could fit perfectly within a large, open warehouse as the bulbs stay lit for many years to come.

The company sells their products around the world, and they accommodate the voltage systems for the United States as well as Europe, Asia, New Zealand, and more.
