This innovative car design is amazing! Created by artist Dominic Wilcox, the concept is a vision of how transportation might be in the future–a combination of functionality and design merged seamlessly into a beautiful automobile. The Stained Glass Driverless Sleeper Car of the Future is a driverless car with only a bed inside. According to the concept, a single passenger would be able to snuggle down for a nap while the car travels to the desired destination.
The glass vehicle has a car base with a grid-like framework that covers the top. Handmade glass pieces were meticulously fused together into a beautiful mosaic stained glass top. According to the artist, “The car combines the handmade process of glass work with modern and future technologies to create a proposal of how transport could be in the middle of the 21st century.”
