For years, creative husband and wife Alexander Khokhlov and Veronica Ershova have wowed us with their amazing makeup transformations. On top of eye-catching body art, however, the Moscow-based duo has another passion: dog photography. In 2017, they won our hearts with their canine-centric series, The Dog Show. Now, the pair is back with more pup portraiture for Season 2 of the highly anticipated—and hugely adorable—project.
Intended to visually “explore the wonderful world of our four-legged friends,” The Dog Show, Season 2 continues to showcase the personalities of each subject. Funny facial expressions, wild hair, and dramatic poses are just some of the ways that the dogs show off their individual spirit.
In addition to highlighting each unique dog’s character and quirks, Season 2 of the series also aims to capture the beauty of different breeds. From the traditional cropped cut of the Bedlington terrier to the expressive wrinkles of the Pug, the collection of photos features the distinctive qualities that make every dog breed a winner.
In a second installment of their adorable series, The Dog Show, photographer Alexander Khokhlov and photography production expert Veronica Ershova capture the unique personalities of our four-legged friends.
They also showcase the beauty of each breed, highlighting everything from distinctive coloring to traditional haircuts.
