Comic book artist David Petersen recreates the Muppets as classic fairy tale characters for BOOM! Studios‘ line of Muppet Fairy Tales comics. We get to see Kermit as the hero we’ve always known him to be, taking on the roles of Robin Hood and Peter Pan. Meanwhile, Miss Piggy is cast as the Evil Queen from Snow White. Despite the many articles on the web about Petersen’s playful series that mark Snow White as Miss Piggy, the role is in fact filled by Spamela Hamderson, the lesser known Muppet that’s designed after actress Pamela Anderson. Other favorites that can be spotted in these works include Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, and Animal.
