Kondoh Akino is a Japanese born artist who recreates our childhood memories..only this time she images them as beautiful nightmares. Akino has us dancing in the dark with her whimsical characters, seeing the beauty in the darkness that envelopes us.
In Akino’s earlier work, her drawings were known for their fine and delicate touch with a mechanical pencil. It was only in recent years that she took up oil painting.
