Do you remember being sixteen? Do you remember how socially awkward you felt, how uncertain you felt about your life, how you didn’t understand how or why you belonged on this earth? I do. Sometimes those feelings still come up. I think that’s called “being human.”
Laurence Philomene is a 16 year old photographer from Montreal. Through her eyes, we get to experience those feelings of loneliness all over again. Only this time, that journey back is surprisingly pleasant.
