Futuristic Desk and Chair Station is Fully Adjustable For Working While Lying Down

Altwork Station is a combination desk and chair workspace that conforms to the individual using it. The compact design–reminiscent of something out science fiction–adjusts to multiple positions, from standing to sitting to fully reclining. Depending on your needs over the course of a day, Altwork allows the computer to move seamlessly with you, rather than you conforming to it. This means that everything on the station is flexible, down to the tilt of the miniature desk.

Five years of engineering was dedicated to creating the ergonomic Altwork Station. This allowed its inventors to perfect the design, which is intended for “high-intensity computer users,” or people who spend four or more hours a day at their computers and “are required to focus on complex tasks for extended periods of time such as developing software and producing computer automated design work.”

Altwork is currently taking pre-orders for their cozy workstation. Early adopters get a significant amount off the $5,900 price tag, paying $3,900 before the product ships in the middle of next year.
