The creative duo known as Adrien M / Claire B have designed a show that combines the beauty of movement with striking computer-generated effects. Titled Le mouvement de l’air, the performance features three dancers in an immersive environment that’s shaped by projected images. As they interact with the abstract electronic backgrounds, an original score is simultaneously made up and played live by a digital interpreter.
The short performance is awe-inspiring in its unique collaboration. Dancers look as though they’re defying gravity, being swept into the constantly-changing digital scenes. The glittering lights flash and shift, corresponding to human movement and perfectly complementing the impressive acrobatic jumps and spins. Together, they evoke the feeling that we’ve entered a dream-like state.
