Inside Microsoft’s First Retail Store – Scottsdale, Arizona

The first Microsoft retail store opened last week in the Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale, Arizona and boy does it look familiar. If you’ve ever spent some quality time in an Apple store you’ll definitely see the similarities. There’s even an “Answer Bar” at the back of the store where you can ask questions!

Though I can’t really judge from these pictures, I’m going to anyway. Though I applaud Microsoft for getting into the retail space I can’t help but that think this is a major copycat move. And the design? Really? You know I’m all about clean and modern so this traditional furniture just doesn’t do it for me. I mean, give me a place I look forward to spending some time in. If I wanted to walk around Ikea or Crate and Barrel I’d go there.

Your thoughts?
