The Sony World Photography Awards is one of the largest photographic events that exists in the world today. The annual awards gala and central exhibitions will take place next month at the prestigious Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. Of the 12 professional category winners, one photographer will be the recipient of the L’Iris D’Or, the Sony World Photography Awards Photographer of the Year.
