From a kaleidoscope to a Colosseum cat bed, the LEGO brick’s versatility seems endless. But it’s the company’s Botanical Collection that has truly captured the imagination of nature lovers, inspiring everything from vibrant garden installations to eye-catching NYC stoops—and now, even fashion. Designers at a fashion show in Centre Court, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur recently showcased how LEGO’s brick-built stems, leaves and petals can be transformed into wearable art.
The LEGO Group teamed up with the Malaysian Official Designers’ Association (MODA) to bring together high fashion and LEGO creativity. Designers were challenged to reimagine the LEGO Botanicals line, producing stunning outfits decorated with LEGO florals. Iconic Malaysian designers and rising stars participated in the show, including Arlina Ayou, Ashley, Atelier Che, Atelier Prive, Celest Thoi, Ellie, Fiziwoo, Jimmy Lim, Melinda Looi, Nanalyana, Tangoo, and Variante.
On October 16, 2025, the LEGO Botanicals Fashion Show unveiled 22 one-of-a-kind outfits featuring LEGO floral designs, from bold, dramatic pieces to delicate, statement accessories. Each look showcased its designer’s personal style, creativity, and the ability to play with LEGO, whatever their age. Standout pieces included a green dress with a hoop skirt covered in LEGO flowers and a matching floral headdress. There was even a wedding-dress look, featuring white and yellow LEGO blossoms delicately hand-sewn onto the corset.
The show also featured a LEGO Botanical Glasshouse, filled with hundreds of pink LEGO flowers and a giant rose sculpture built entirely from LEGO bricks. There was even a LEGO Bonsai Garden, where fan-built bonsai creations lined the walls.
